Born and raised in Toronto,
Amy was instrumental in founding Stern Film Studio.
With an impressive 15-year career working on American and UK film and television productions, she honed her skills which developed into a passion for making productions feel at home while serving as Studio Director at Stern.
Beyond her professional life, Amy is an avid traveller and hiking enthusiast.
Exploring new cultures and mountains not only broadens her perspective but also fuels her creativity. Whether welcoming a new production to Stern or trying on a new pair of hiking boots, Amy brings the same level of passion and dedication to everything she does.
After nearly 20 years of working on American and UK film and television productions as a Production Manager, Tamás joined Stern in 2019. His extensive experience and expertise have been invaluable in enhancing the studio’s operations, while ensuring that every production runs smoothly and efficiently. His dedication to the craft and commitment to excellence have made him an integral part of the Stern team. Outside of his professional life, Tamás has a love for sports and cooking. Whether he’s playing tennis, boxing, or trying out extreme sports, he thrives on the thrill and challenge of pushing his limits. On the quieter side, Tamás is also a culinary enthusiast who enjoys experimenting with new recipes and flavours in the kitchen.
After leaving Hungary in 1976, Stern Film Studio Founder, Robert Szabados spent nearly 20 years in Canada. Upon his return to Hungary, Mr. Szabados acquired the property where Stern Film Studio now sits. With multiple successful business ventures behind him, he became the first private investor in Hungary to meet a market demand by building a studio complex capable of servicing both local and international productions.
When opening Stern Film Studio, Mr. Szabados aimed to create an environment where producers and directors would love making films, with a happy cast and crew enjoying their work every day.
